In addition to Skyway Park being Pomegranate Center’ s 2009 Dig Fund recipient, we’ve just started work on Skyway Solutions, a King County project funded by the Community Enhancement Initiative, to help Skyway to transform itself.

During the next six months Skyway business leaders, youth, churches, schools, and neighbors will examine their community: what they love, what is unique, what can change, and what the future of Skyway will be.

“This project is not just about identifying root causes and strategizing ways to address them but developing community-crafted solutions that will turn into action, says Jeremy Valenta, project coordinator for the Skyway Enhancements Initiative.

We’re honored to be working with the residents of Skyway on this campaign to unify current initiatives, give voice to new ones, and create buzz in the community that generates lasting change.
