Pomegranate Center is excited to announce Sustainable Urban Neighborhoods Coalition (SUNC) as the recipient of the first Gathering Places Initiative grant, a pilot project to help communities in Washington imagine and create new neighborhood gathering places. This grant provides SUNC with $20,000 of Pomegranate Center planning, design and construction coordination services to help the communities of Columbia City and Hillman City create a focal point and street improvements between the two neighborhoods to enhance connectivity and pedestrian activity.
