Pomegranate Center wins the Evergreen Award!
We are excited to announce that Pomegranate Center has received the prestigious Evergreen Award from the Executive Alliance for our collaborative community building model.
“Pomegranate Center’s collaborative successes are illustrative of the kind of innovative and unified approaches nonprofits in our community will need to take in order to survive and grow through this recession,” said Melany Brown, executive director of Executive Alliance.

At the award ceremony on April 2 we were honored for our work transforming a vacant lot into a gathering place in the Edith-Carrie neighborhood in Walla Walla, WA partnership with Edith-Carrie residents, Sherwood Trust, Blue Mountain Action Council and Commitment to Community.
The Evergreen Award, which is presented annually by Executive Alliance, recognizes nonprofit organizations for their model leadership in the nonprofit sector and contributions to communities through pioneering programs.
