The Seattle Housing Authority is developing community-based ideas to honor the people, history and the uniqueness of the historic Yesler Terrace affordable housing community. Pomegranate Center is leading a series of community conversations at the Terrace to incorporate these concepts and elements into community gathering places and integrate art into public areas during the community’s site redevelopment design process. We will engage residents in identifying their irreplaceable community assets and ensure that they are expressed in the future redeveloped community. For more information on this project, contact Duncan Chalmers, duncan@pomegranate.org.
