MVW 2011 schedulePomegranate Center’s Multiple Victories Workshops give you strategies, tools and techniques to effectively and meaningfully engage community members in your project or work.

This workshop offers experience and insights accumulated from hundreds of projects. The training faculty is led by Milenko Matanovic, founder and executive director of Pomegranate Center, a nationally recognized community building nonprofit. He is a master facilitator and experienced community builder.

This two and a half day training will change the way you think about community building and empower you to change your community.

Topics covered include:

  • Wiring your project for success: Strategies for collaboration and planning to increase project efficacy
  • Engaging the community: Outreach tips, facilitation techniques and structures that allow for maximum involvement without slowing down the process
  • Building an early success: Bridging planning and action
  • Ongoing stewardship: Building broad ownership of the project that will carry it into the future

Who should attend:
This workshop is designed for both professionals and non-professionals. Municipal employees, designers, planners and citizen community builders are all encouraged to participate.

  • $450 per person
  • Group rate: 3 or more people from the same organization get a reduced rate of $375/person.
  • Cost includes materials, lunch and beverages, and an optional one-hour project consultation with Pomegranate Center staff
