Multiple Victories Workshops

You’ve got this idea about how to make your neighborhood better, cleaner, safer, greener, stronger or closer knit.

Maybe you’ve already started working on it, or maybe not. Maybe you’ve involved some of your neighbors, or maybe not.

But you’re ready to turn your idea into action. That’s where Pomegranate Center’s Multiple Victories Workshops come in.

Multiple Victories Workshops

The Multiple Victories Workshop is a five-session series that gives you tools to help engage your community, create common goals, and build ownership and momentum in your neighborhood project.

The power to shape a community is both the privilege and responsibility of the people living in that community. This is a basic belief that drives Pomegranate Center’s work. It is from this belief that we developed the Multiple Victories Workshops, a training program designed to impart our 22 years of expertise and experience in community building with community leaders.

Created and taught by Milenko and the Pomegranate Center team, the Multiple Victories Workshops will teach you how to engage your neighbors in your community project and build project ownership and momentum.

This isn’t a “we talk, you listen” workshop. The sessions are heavily influenced by your projects and communities.

In this five-session series, you’ll:

  • Learn tools and tips to help you organize and realize your community project.
  • Learn why a community’s social cohesion is important, and how you can help strengthen it.
  • Put it to work! Use your own neighborhood project to test and apply workshop information as the series progresses.

In the workshop, we’ll learn:

  • Ground rules for community involvement
  • How to design inclusive and decisive processes
  • How to balance community participation with project excellence
  • How to create a strategic “early success”
  • Principles of improvisational teamwork
  • Translating community ideas into actions
  • And so much more!
