A focal point for a new Washington Park Arboretum garden

Pomegranate Center collaborated with the Portico Group to design a shelter for the Washington Park Arboretum’s Pacific Connections garden. The shelter features a green roof, salvaged cedar columns carved with patterns celebrating five ecosystems—China, Australia, New Zealand, Chile and Cascadia— created through a series of participatory workshops.
